Dyson Spare Parts

For those of you who are looking for replacement parts for your Dyson I would first recommend calling the company to see if they missing or broken part is covered under the 5 year or 6 month warranty that is sold with each new and refurbished Dyson vacuum cleaner. If it is not I would suggest going to www.dyson.com to find the part that you need for your vacuum cleaner.

Dyson’s home page has a Dyson spare part catalog for each one of its model. Simply follow these instructions to locate a list of parts available for your model.

1. Visit Dyson
2. Go To Online Store
3. In The Sub Menu Go To Parts & Accessories
4. Select Your Vacuum Type
5. Select Your Vacuum Model

The site will then list all of the Dyson spare parts and the accessories that are available for your model of vacuum from the company directly.

Dyson spares and accessories are available from amazon.com, overstock, best buy, and other retailers. However as is the case when purchasing any replacement part I prefer to buy from the original manufacture. I can’t say why it is just my preference.

Dyson spare parts include hoses, adapters, and filters. To my knowledge heads, handles, and canisters are not sold separately and will be replaced only through remanufacturing or refurbishment from the company itself.

Dyson accessories are not considered spare parts. If you are looking for accessories there are many available through all of the retail outlets that currently sell Dyson vacuum cleaners.

Dyson Vacuum Sale

A Dyson vacuum cleaner is an expensive purchase, so it is your job as a consumer to shop around and find the best deal that you can. It is my job however to help you find the best deals. With that said I have set out to find all of the websites that offer Dyson’s and am trying to locate the best Dyson vacuum sale.

After completing my due diligence in scouring the net for the best deals I found the overstock.com has the best everyday prices on Dyson vacuum cleaners.

Overstock’s Dyson vacuum sales are dynamic and change from day to day, but while reviewing there prices I noticed that when compared to brick and mortar retail shops and even many online shop overstock’s prices often came out at 25 – 50% lower than there competitors.

Another place to find great deals on Dyson vacuums is amazon.com. If you have visited our site before this is something you have probably noticed as most of our ads come from Amazon and I mentioned them a lot. The reason is that even though they might not always have the best prices they do have a wide variety, sound shipping, and great customer service.

If you keep your eyes peeled at Amazon you will find excellent prices and they even have extended warranties for refurbished Dyson vacs available.

In all honesty though the best Dyson vacuum sale that can be found is the one that fits your budget; take the time to shop around and you will find a great value.

Dyson are available in stores and online at 100’s of different retailers, they are available company direct online, and from friends and family that work in the corporate offices. Finding one at the price you are looking for shouldn’t be too hard, and I guarantee no matter what the price you will be happy you bought one.

Did you know that 99.9% of all air expelled from a Dyson vacuum is cleaner that it was when it was sucked it? That is the Dyson difference.

Dyson Airmuscle

The Dyson Airmuscle ™:

Dyson Direct Inc. has unveiled it’s latest technology on a new upright vacuum cleaner named the Dyson DC28. The technology, know now as the Dyson Airmuscle is a combination of three new technologies that allows the vacuum cleaner head to move intelligently to adapt to vacuuming on different surfaces.

It seems to me that Dyson is always working to figure out what is currently wrong with their vacuum cleaners, and not what is currently right. A mindset that really seems to be working for them as it has lead to many new advances in the vacuum cleaner industry. The problem that they addressed this time was that they saw that vacuum cleaners didn’t not effectively vacuum all surface well, and even the ones that had adjustments for such issues the did not work appropriately.

When a vacuum is adjustable for cleaning different surface types it will generally have two options 1 lower the brush bar, or 2 lower the entire vacuum head. The problems that occur with these adjustments are that when you lower the brush bar you will raise the vacuums head away from the floor causing a suction leakage. The leakage means that you will lose some of your seal and your vacuum won’t pick up all of the dirt that it should be picking up. The issue with lowering the vacuums head is that they generally do it by weighting the vacuum to keep it touch the ground. But the weights will make it difficult to push, especially in carpet where the nose of the vacuum will have a tendency to get buried and stuck.

How Does the Dyson Airmuscle Fix the Problem?

If I were to tell you that I understood completely what the airmuscle did to fix the issue I would be lying because well it took the Dyson engineers whom are much smart than I am 3 years to figure it out. But I do know that they combine three technologies that have seperate but equally important jobs.

Dyson’s Website Says
1. Pneumatic actuator
Pulls the cleaner head deeper into the carpet, opening the pile to dislodge dirt and pet hair.
2. Powered cam
Lifts the brush bar up for hard floors, focusing suction.
3. High-torque clutch
More power to the brush bar, enabling the stiff bristles to open carpet pile and dislodge dirt.

Vacuum’s With the Dyson Airmuscle Technology:

The newest vacuum in the Dyson line up the DC28 upright vacuum cleaner is currently the only vacuum available with the new airmuscle technology. I would expect that as new vacuums are developed the will be equipped with the same or a similar technology.

Dyson DC28 Animal

The Dyson DC28 Animal

I believe the Pursuit of Perfection is Lexus’ slogan, but with Dyson’s newest vacuum it seems like they are truly the company that is always looking for a way to perfect their products. Year after year Dyson has continually built new vacuum cleaners each with their own new improvements and developments; developments that have revolutionized the vacuum industry.EG The Dyson Cyclone and the The Dyson Ball. As the Dyson DC28 is premiered to the world we are also introduced to another new technology by the Dyson company; the Dyson Airmuscle technology. Although today’s article is to focus on the DC28 I would like to briefly explain what the Dyson airmuscle is too before I highlight it in it’s own article.

Dyson DC28 Animal Features:

The Dyson Airmuscle Technology is The Dyson DC28′s most prominent feature on the list. A technology that affects suction and seal for vacuuming on multiple surface types, the Airmuscle combines 3 components to make appropriate adjustments for floor height and surface area.

Then we get into the equipment that has been standard on Dyson vacuums for quite some time now. Now don’t get downtrodden when I say standard, although it may be standard on Dysons it is still exceptional technology. First we have the Dyson Cyclone which guarantees you will never lose suction, then we have our finger tip controls that will allow you to toggle your brush bar on and off. The vacuum is an Animal model which is equipped with the mini turbine head for removing pet hair from tough carpets and upholstery.

The Dyson DC28 Animal is also equipped with an attachment called the Flat Out head which is used to perform the task of getting under low couches and tables. This is something I am going to have to look more into because I don’t know about this attachment. I know Dyson use to have a tool very similar to this called the low reach floor tool, but I am not certain if they have just changed the name or invented something new. I will get on the job of finding out though.

Dyson DC28 On Sale

[ReviewAZON asin="B00208JVEG" display="inlinepost"] The DC28 is already available for sale online directly through Dyson’s website and through amazon.com. At the time of writing this article I have yet to see any available in retail stores in my area, but I haven’t been specifically looking as I am very happy with my current vacuum cleaner the Dyson DC24. But if they aren’t there yet I am sure they will be soon as this vacuum looks to be another top seller in the Dyson upright vacuum range.

Dyson DC28 Animal Specifications

Dimensions: 42.1 in. x 13.5 in. x 14.3 in. (H x W x D)
Weight: 20.61 lbs.
Suction power: 245 AW
Bin capacity: 0.61 gal

In my opinion it seems like the new DC28 is a bit on the heavy side weighing in at 20lbs. This could be quite the disadvantage as it makes vacuuming difficult and can really limit their potential demographic to men who are not elderly. A 20lb vacuum isn’t easy to use on stairs, or even to lug around for a long period of time.

Dyson DC28 Animal Cost

The price tag on the Dyson DC28 Animal is a little higher than many of you may feel comfortable with, but Dyson explains that with their vacuums you get a 5 year warranty that covers all parts. Including filters and belts which will generally give you a saving of almost 250.00 over a 5 year time span. Something that you should definitely consider. Vacuums aren’t cheap and you do get what you pay for. I think it is worth the extra cost up front to get a product that you know is going to work and that you know will not end up costing you more in the long run.

Dyson The Ball

Dyson The Ball

As a leader in the vacuum cleaner industry Dyson has set out to make vacuum cleaners as revolutionary as they can by providing their cleaners with the newest and most innovative technology. The company is known for constantly developing new ideas, applying for new patents, and being a leader in research and development. So it is no surprise to me that the company has completely turned the idea of how a vacuum cleaner moves upside down by designing the http://www.dysoninfo.com/dyson-ball-technology/.

The Dyson DC24 and Dyson DC25 as we have aptly name “Dyson The Ball” are currently the two upright vacuum cleaners in the company’s array of cleaners that are equipped with they new ball technology. I am the proud owner of the DC24 which is the smaller more compact version of the DC25 and is perfect for my little home.

When it comes to vacuuming we know not to expect fun; it is a chore and like all chores it is boring and not a pleasure to do but with a Dyson, the ball, vacuuming will still be boring and a chore. I don’t expect you to believe that all will be fun in the world of vacuuming just because you get a fun new toy added to you vacuum cleaner. But I do believe that it will make the job easier, faster, and more convenient overall.

Why? Because with a Dyson the ball allows you to move in a way that is simply more natural. You will be able to take your vacuum cleaner around corners and obstacles without having to do pivotal movements. In the commercials you see the concept displayed perfectly, normal vacuums have wheels that don’t turn so you are confined to movement that are in a straight line and any turns require leverage from your wrist and your forearm. With a ball as the wheel you can turn in any direction with very little effort meaning you don’t have to rely on anything but your momentum to move and turn the vacuum creating less resistance and easier vacuuming.

Now the only complaint that I have heard about Dyson vacuums that have the ball technology attached to them is that after extended use people have said that their wrists hurt a little more than normal. Although please take this with a grain of salt as one of them was my aunt who is in her early 60′s and well not in great shape. But i can understand the complaint as the vacuum isn’t as rigid and it’s fluid motion may take a while to get used to.

With all that said I would definitely recommend looking more into a Dyson the ball really is an amazing!

Dyson Vacuum Review

My Dyson Vacuum Review

I bought a Dyson vacuum about 7 months ago after my Bissell’s life came to an unexpected end. I purchased a Dyson because I was tired of constantly purchasing $100.00 vacuum cleaners that kept under performing and breaking before they should have. I guess I should have realized earlier on that you do in fact get what you pay for. Anyway I decided that it was time to spend the money and get a “good” vacuum cleaner like a Dyson or a Meile. After a few weeks of shopping around I finally made my choice and purchased a Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the full Dyson Ball vacuum.

So after having over half a years use it is time to give you guys a full dyson vacuum review of my DC24 Ball. So let’s begin with the vacuum’s performance. The DC24 is a small vacuum and this unfortunately means that it has a small canister, and therefore leads to longer vacuuming times. Why? Well because it forces me too clean the canister out more times during cleaning that I would normally have to with a full size vac, but that was a choice that I made and I am sure that on the full size vacuums you will find that caninster size is not a problem. Although the canister on the 24 is small it is extremely convenient to empty. I just push the button to eject it from the vacuum and press it again to spill the junk into the garbage can. I absolutely love it because I don’t have the mess of a bag and don’t have to grab all of the dirt and hair out with my hand it nicely falls out of the bottom with a few taps on the side of the trash can.

The Dyson Cyclone is great, it is advertised as to never lose suction. That may not be completely true but in my 7 months of use I have had very little problems with clogging, or loss of air flow, or anything. The DC24 has again and again picked up everything that I have asked it to without any trouble.

The Dyson Ball really is the greatest invention to hit the vacuum cleaner market since it’s inceptions. I love the ability to turn on a dime and to just be out of the mundane routine that vacuuming has been for so long. The ball isn’t a deal breaker though. I would say that if your budget is limited to a certain amount don’t go break it for this functionality, but if you have that flexibility definitely check it out because I really do love it.

I don’t think my dyson vacuum review would be complete without talking about cost. I am sure you have noticed that the DC24 and all Dyson vacuums are expensive $400.00 and up in most cases. But if you really look around you can find some great deals and you can even find some great Dyson vacuum sales in your area. I got a great deal on my DC24 because I know somebody that works at the corporate office in Chicago and they were able to use their friends and family discount to purchase the vacuum for me.

My overall feeling is that A Dyson Vacuum is a solid purchase and that if you spend the money to buy a good vacuum you will get the results that you should. Yes I have had a few issues with clogs here and there and the brush bar will get stuck once in a while, but overall the vacuum has performed like I would expect it too. With that said stay posted and maybe I will do another dyson vacuum review in the future to see if the DC24 is still performing to it fullest after a year. After all for the money I spent I expect to have this vacuum for years to come.

If you would like to post a Dyson vacuum review please feel free to contact me via email with the subject Dyson Vacuum Review at ajm [at] dysoninfo [dot] com. I would love to hear your story and post it for others to read too.

Which Dyson Vacuum Is The Best?

Monday, June 1st, 2009

When looking for a vacuum cleaner, it doesn’t take long before you come across the Dyson line and recognize various aspects of their products that jump out at you. As one of the most unique, high quality, and most reliable vacuums on the market, Dyson has been leading the way in technological advancements in the vacuum industry for well over a year now, and they aren’t slowing down. The only problem when it comes to making a choice for which to purchase yourself is understanding which Dyson vacuum is the best.

This is by far no easy question to answer as all of their models offer incredible features and accessories. Not to mention their ability to perform and clean better than 99% of all other models on the market. Answering which Dyson vacuum is the best really comes down to your overall needs and preferences.

To start, you need to consider your space requirements. The DC24 is an upright cleaner that offers an adjustable handle for height making it more compact than other upright vacuum cleaners even within the Dyson line up. This makes it more compact and easily stored. However, if you really want the best possible options for storage and space saving ability, the canister models offered by Dyson are by far the best options. The canister vacuum models are easily stored almost anywhere without taking up very much space at all which makes them great options for those people who have very limited closest and storage space in their homes.
Other questions you need to ask and aspects to look at in order to discover which Dyson vacuum is the best include allergies and asthma. Some models come included with certified asthma and allergy friendly. All models are designed using a lifetime HEPA filter and are at the front of the line when it comes to their ability to help fight and prevent allergies and asthma producing particles in your home. However, some models take it a step further and are specifically designed to be certified as asthma and allergy friendly making them even more effective in helping to keep your home free of allergy producing agents.
Another aspect to look at is overall ease of use. Some of the upright models come included with ball technology while others don’t. This technology significantly improves overall mobility and ease of turning and rotating much, much better. The ball technology is a huge step in the overall ability to maneuver the vacuum cleaner.

You will also want to look at the suction and vacuum performance and technology as well when trying to decide which Dyson vacuum is the best. Each has it’s own type of Cyclone technology and has different levels and abilities to perform. Some vacuum cleaners come with the Root Cyclone technology while others come with the level 3 Root Cyclone technology. Each performs differently and is able to produce different results, and it’s important to evaluate both technologies in order to make the best and most well informed decision.

Overall, any choice you make will be one that makes you happy. The entire line of Dyson vacuum cleaners is extremely well made, very high quality, includes powerful cleaning performance, and all models offer amazing ease of use as well as great accessories and features. Choosing which Dyson vacuum is the best isn’t an easy task, but in the end, it all depends on your specific needs and requirements for your vacuum cleaner.
