It seems that the pink Dyson vacuum cleaner that came out a while back has a bit of staying power as my statistics are showing me that you are still very interested in it with more that 8000 of you searching for it each and every month. The unfortunate part of this story is that Dyson does not sell their new upright models in the pink color, but don’t be discouraged because as always the best online marketplace is here to save the day.

When Dyson came out with the pink Dyson DC07 it was a great promotion that helped bring awareness to and donations for breast cancer, since the campaign has ended though it has left many mom’s looking for a hard to find pink Dyson vacuum cleaner. But do not fret, because it isn’t impossible to get your hands on one.

In fact getting your hands on one is quite the fitting saying as the Dyson DC16 Root 6 Vacuum – Pink hand held vacuum can still be purchased in new condition from both amazon.com and from the company itself. The Dyson DC16 Pink is a very compact and powerful hand held vacuum cleaner that comes with the Dyson patented Cyclone Technology and has been time and time again an amazon best seller.

But I know most of you didn’t come here looking for a hand held vacuum, you are looking for the goods. Although Dyson doesn’t offer their new upright vacuums in pink at the moment you can still buy a refurbished Dyson vacuum in pink online. I know many of you may be worried about the word refurbished, but all refurbished Dyson vacuums come directly from the company with a 6 month warranty and amazon is willing to sell you an extended warranty on it to ease your mind even further.

Check out the pink dyson vacuum cleaner the DC07 in its fully functional high quality finish at amazon for the reduced price starting at 350.00. You really can’t beat a guaranteed warrantied vacuum cleaner at a great price and in the pink color that you want.

Are you looking to purchase a refurbished Dyson DC17? If so then the best place to shop is amazon as they generally have the largest selection of refurbished or re-manufactured Dyson vacuums.

Another plus of purchasing a refurbished Dyson from amazon is the ability to buy an extended service and part warranty. New Dyson vacuums come with a 5 year warranty, however models that have been refurbished are only guaranteed for 6 months. Amazon is a licensed seller of Dyson warranties that can be purchased up to an extra 3 years.

A refurbished Dyson DC17 is a great way to save a few dollars on a top of the line vacuum cleaner. The DC17 is equipped with the motorized brush bar, hygienic canister, hepa filter, and the root cyclone technology that will guarantee that your vacuum never loses suction. By simply buying a refurbished Dyson vacuum cleaner you can reduce the cost of your vacuum by 1 to even 200 dollars.

Buying a Dyson vacuum is an absolute great investment for your home, but it doesn’t have to be one that puts you into the poor house. Be sure to look at the great selection of refurbished Dyson vacuum cleaners on amazon.

Welcome to part 1 of my Dyson Vs. series. I have done a lot of Dyson Vs. Dyson comparisons, but I have left the rest of the market pretty much alone. Mainly because I wanted to keep the site focused on it’s primary subject. But after further consideration a Dyson site without a decent Dyson vs. Kirby, Dyson vs. Miele, or Dyson vs. Other article would just be lacking to say the least. So I decided to put procrastination aside and begin a series comparing Dysons to the rest of the vacuuming universe.

Dyson Vs. Kirby

If you own a home or rent a place you have probably run into the Kirby guys before. Yeah, at home door to door sales are generally annoying so i give Dyson the 1 up already because well their product sells itself without having to corner people in their living rooms with uncomfortable sales pitches and cheesy smiles.

The vacuums on the other hand compare a lot more evenly than either company would like to admit.

Both Dyson and Kirby vacuums are top of the line, they allow for great flexibility by having lots of attachments, easy cleanup and maintenance, offer allergy and asthma friendly solutions, have a great warranty and just work well. Kirby may have the upper hand for a second with their attachable floor buffer that Dyson can’t offer, but they soon lose it with the added costs of buying extra filters that are required to use in vacuum.

I have found Dyson’s more aesthetically pleasing than Kirbys, they are light and stowable, have the ball technology to offer better maneuverability, look much nicer that the aluminum can design Kirby has, and even at 500.00 are up to 700.00 cheaper than the Kirby model with all the accessories.

You may find this shocking coming from a site called Dyson info, but when it comes to Dyson vs. Kirby I do prefer the Dyson vacuum. I have however not actually owned a Kirby model, just sat through a demonstration or two so if you want a real comparison invite the Kirby people over and take a look at the results for yourself, but be warned they are good salesmen.

One of the more frequent questions that I get asked is “are there any attachments for my Dyson vacuum available” so I thought I would take a minute to help you guys find what attachments you can get for your Dysons.

If you would like to know what attachments are available for your specific Dyson vacuum email me with your question at ajm [at] dysoninfo [dot] com and I will try to write up an article specifically about what attachments are available to you.

Universal Attachments for Dyson Vacuums:

Flexi crevice tool
Soft dusting brush
Stiff bristle brush
Multi-angle brush

Flexi Crevice Tool Attachment for Dyson vacuums:

The Dyson Flexi Crevice tool attachment is extending and flexible in order to l easily fit into those hard to get to places.

Soft Dusting Brush Attachment for Dyson vacuums:

The Dyson Soft Dusting Brush attachment works pretty much like a regular dusting brush except with the power of a Dyson vacuum behind it. Use the soft dusting brush on your piano and don’t worry about the finish.

Stiff Bristle Brush Attachment for Dyson vacuums:

The Dyson Stiff Bristle Brush Attachment on the other hand is much less delicate and heavier duty. Use the stiff bristle brush to get the stuff off of the floor that you might need a little extra help with.

Multi-angle Brush Attachment for Dyson vacuums:

The Dyson multi-angle Brush Attachment allows you to work without performing acrobatics. Clean the tops of fan blades and cabinets with ease by attaching this tool to the wand of your Dyson vacuum cleaner.

Cleaning Out Dyson Vacuums is really not a difficult task, nor is it all that time consuming to do so don’t put it off because you will only be making your vacuum less efficient to use.

On a Dyson vacuum cleaner there are very few removable parts that need to be cleaned meaning that keeping your vacuum in top shape should be pretty easy. Here is my schedule and suggestions for cleaning out your Dyson vacuum to keep it running great.

My Routine For Cleaning Out A Dyson Vacuum:

1. Empty your Dyson Canister every time you use it, or when the contaminants reach the full level. I know these seems like trouble but with the easy empty canister on all the Dyson upright models it won’t take more than a few seconds and it will help to ensure that you are always get the best suctions.

2. Remove hair from the brush head. Although infrequent you may find that your bathroom floor has more hair than your head and when your Dyson picks it all up it may cause the brush to get stuck once in a while.

3. Clean the HEPA Filter once a month. Schedule either the first or last day of the month as the day the you can wash and dry your filter. Your filter probably doesn’t need a full cleaning every month, but it is just good practice to form a routine and stick with it.

Do you need instructions for cleaning out a Dyson vacuum? If so you might want to take a look at my article cleaning your Dyson DC18 I know it may not be specific to your model, but you will find that the instructions are almost uniform for any Dyson upright vacuum as they are all equipped with the Dyson hygienic canister making cleanup of each model extremely simple.

When cleaning your Dyson accessories be sure to make sure your vacuum is unplugged and all parts are removed before from the upright itself as you will not want to get any water on the vacuum itself. Then rinse your plastic accessories with water and allow them to dry completely before reattaching them to your vacuum.

The Dyson DC25 Animal vacuum is a very strong contender in the upright vacuum cleaner market place because the technology the vacuum is equipped with is very unique. It is unique because the DC25 is one of 2 Dyson models built with the new Dyson Ball technology that no other vacuum company currently has a substitute for.

With this being said though it isn’t always true that unique means good, or at least good for you. That is why I definitely recommend taking your time with research and reading as many Dyson DC25 Animal Reviews as you can. I am sure it can be difficult at times to find a DC25 review so I have taken the time to find some that may be helpful to you and listed them below.

Of course I think you should get my opinion first so here are a few articles I have written that describe and compare the DC25 against other Dyson Models.

Wow, that is quite the mouthful for a vacuum name, but I guess it is fitting as this is quite the vacuum cleaner. Did you know that the DC07 is actually the one that started it all? Yep, that it is why it is called the Dyson Origin.

The Dyson DC07 came from Dyson in 6 different models, one of the most popular models being the Dyson Dc07 All Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner that you most likely searched for to find this article.

So what’s in a name? Well Everything. Let’s take a minute to break down what this name actually means before we start looking at whether or not this vacuum would be right for you.

The Dyson DC07 All Floor Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner.

To make things easy let’s remove Dyson and upright vacuum cleaner, I am pretty sure if you are searching for those phrases then you know who Dyson is and what an upright vacuum cleaner is. DC07 is nothing more than a model number so it really doesn’t serve much purpose other than having a standard naming convention for the company. Now we move on to all floors, and yep it means exactly what you think it means: this vacuum is great no matter what type of surface you are using it on. You can be vacuuming hardwoods, tile, carpet, or rugs and this vacuum will get the job done right. However the cyclone is the cat’s pajamas as some might say, or the main feature as the less jive turkeys might say. The cyclone is Dyson’s patented sucking technology and is the reason Dyson is such a high value and high quality vacuum cleaner.
The Dyson Cyclone uses centrifugal force to push air in a cyclonic motion to make sure that you don’t get any loss of suction while your vacuums canister fills up.

So basically the Dyson DC07 All Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner is a standard upright vacuum that has the ability to clean any surface in your house while using a cutting edge technology to guarantee you never get a clog stopping your progress.

The downside to the DC07 is that it is no longer an option to purchase the vacuum from Dyson as the model has long since been retired from their current catalog. However Dyson offers many great upright vacuums that I suggest you take a look at. Go up to our drop down menu and you will find a list of great Dyson upright vacuums.

I would have to say that one of the downsides to buying a Dyson vacuum is that they don’t come from the factory with very many accessories. Generally the vacuums will have 1 or 2 attachments in the box and that is it.

However it is not to say that Dyson doesn’t offer a great amount of accessories for each model of vacuum that they have. In fact The Dyson DC18 Accessories list is quite long. Let’s see what attachments and tools Dyson has to offer.

Dyson DC18 Accessories – Attachments:

Asthma and Allergy Kit
Flexi crevice tool
Low reach floor tool
Combination tool
Stair tool
Zorb groomer
Mattress tool
Soft dusting brush
Multi-angle brush

Dyson DC18 Accessories – Cleaners:
Dyson carpet cleaning kit
Dyzolv™ spot cleaner
Zorb carpet maintenance powder

Dyson DC18 Accessories – Replacement Parts:
Brush bar
Bin assembly
Cyclone assembly
End cap assembly – Left
End cap assembly – Right
Dyson lifetime filter
Hose / U-bend assembly
User guide
Cleanerhead assembly
Post-motor filter
Wand handle

Personally I don’t think you can find a better accessory for your Dyson DC18 or any vacuum for that matter, than the Multi-Angle brush. When you pair the light weight and easy to carry frame of the DC18 Slim with the convenience of the multi-angle brush you can clean just about anything in your path.

Be sure to check out my article Dyson Parts & Accessories to find the details on many of these unique tools, and where you are able to find them.

Buying a new sparkly home appliance can be a very big decision for your household because well they get to be pretty expensive when all costs are added up. That combine with the tough economical times many of us are facing make it even more difficult for you to get the tools needed to making your life better.

I unfortunately don’t have great news for you if you are looking to find a Refurbished Dyson on the market. Although it is not impossible to find re-manufactured or refurbished Dyson vacuum cleaners it isn’t always simple.

The best place I have found to look for a Refurbished Dyson Vacuum are at Amazon, here are a couple of the vacuums that currently have listed on their site.

Dyson Refurbished Vacuum cleaners are essentially just the same as new Dyson vacuums because the are remanufactured by the company themselves meaning that they are given the same care and precise development that every Dyson vacuum cleaner is given.

In order to make sure the you have all the confidence in your refurbished vacuum Dyson provide a 6 month warranty on all of their refurbished models.

If you don’t quite feel comfortable with that 6 month warranty be sure to check out the extended warranties that amazon sells for The Dyson vacuums as well. They start at small $29.00 a fee you really can’t beat.

The Dyson DC25 Animal Vacuum Cleaner Ball ….

Wow! that is a mouth full. This name as are most of the Dyson products names is a little bit longer than it should be, so today I thought I would break it down and explain to you what makes the name, and the vacuum.

Let’s start with Dyson DC25 Vacuum Cleaner and remove the rest for a second. The Dyson DC25 is an upright vacuum cleaner from the Dyson Limited Corporation. It is a bag less vacuum cleaner and is one of Dyson’s most popular models.

Now let’s throw Dyson DC25 Animal Vacuum Cleaner together and see what we get. The result is a little bit more focused because now we can realize the the DC25 vacuum comes in two different styles The DC25 animal and the dc25 all floors model.

The Dyson DC25 Animal model is made to pick up animal hair and dander and comes with a special tool called the mini turbine head which is specifically designed to pull animal hair from tough carpets like upholstery.

Finally we have made it to the full phrase Dyson DC25 Animal Vacuum Cleaner Ball. The Ball is referring to Dyson’s Ball technology which in my opinion is one of the greatest things to ever happen to the vacuum cleaner. What the Dyson ball is, is a way for you to easily move your vacuum around furniture and your house without being stuck in the old fashioned back and forth motion all other vacuums use.

As you can now see that each word in the title means something else to the Dyson Model, and although it maybe a mouthful it is worth it because each word presents a new feature to the vacuum cleaner.
