Dyson DC25 All Floors

Dyson DC25 All Floors

The Dyson DC25 All Floors vacuum cleaner is the least expensive model of the DC25 from the Dyson Company.  The DC25 is an upright vacuum cleaner that comes in 3 different models: the All Floors, the Animal, and the Blueprint (limited edition).

This model is the most basic model, but that does not mean that it is limited in performance in any way.  The DC25 all floors comes standard with the Dyson Ball technology, as well as, the Dyson Cyclone Technology. Both of which are patented by Dyson and are considered among top new technologies in the vacuum cleaner industry.

Dyson DC25 All Floors Features:

The Dyson Ball is probably the most notable feature of the DC25, whether it is the all floors or animal model.  The Ball technology is perhaps one of the most notable features added to any vacuum cleaner in the last 30 years.

The Dyson Balls is a feature on the DC15, DC24, and DC25, and is an example of how James Dyson has reinvented the vacuum cleaner.  The ball itself has revolutionized how you can use a vacuum cleaner.  For decades vacuums have sat upon 4 one directional wheels that allow you to move back and forth.  The Ball however rotates in any direction meaning that you can change you direction with a simple twist of your wrist.

The Dyson Cyclone is the second major feature of the Dyson DC25 All floors. The Cyclone was the first engineering idea that set the Dyson lineup apart from other vacuum cleaners.

A combination of a HEPA filter and a dual wind cyclone filter allow the vacuum to continue vacuuming at full suction even as the canister fills up.  The Cyclone pushes contaminants to the bottom of the canister which allows the DC25 to never lose suction.

Dyson DC25 All Floors Cost:

According to the Dyson website the DC25 All Floors model is listed at $499.99.

Dyson DC25 All Floor Reviews:

Sorry, we currently don’t have a hand on review for this vacuum cleaner.

Dyson DC25 Vacuum

Dyson DC25 Vacuum

The Dyson DC25 Vacuum is an upright vacuum cleaner from Dyson that is an extension of their family of ball vacuum cleaners. The Dyson ball vacuum cleaners include the DC15, DC24, and the DC25.

If you are unfamiliar with the Dyson Balls, it is a revolutionary technology that has dramatically changed the way vacuum cleaners are able to maneuver around.  I know that really just sounds like a really cheesy marketing pitch, but it is really true.  I have a DC24 that is an absolutely great cleaner.

The Dyson DC25 vacuum comes in 3 different models.  An all floors model which is the cheapest and least specific model, the animal which is the most expensive and comes with a brush head designed specifically to collect animal fur from floors and upholstery, and the blueprint which is a limited edition model of the DC25.

All models of the DC25 are available online and have relatively the same features.

The features on the Dyson DC25 Vacuum are:

  • Ball Technology
  • Cyclone Technology
  • Asthma & Allergy Friendly
  • Quick Release Canister with ergonomic handle
  • Expandable wand for hard to reach places.
  • Lifetime HEPA filter

The Dyson DC25 vacuum is in my opinion one of the best vacuums in the Dyson line up, as well as one of the best vacuum cleaners on the market.

The price of the Dyson may be a little bit out of your range, but if you are willing to spend the extra money now, you will see savings over the life of owning the vacuum buy reducing the number of filters you need to purchase.  And the Dyson comes with a 5 year warranty standard.

Before I purchased my Dyson I had gone through 2 Bissells in 4 years.  So I am already seeing the savings.

The Dyson DC25 vacuum is definitely one I would recommend to put on your wish list.

Dyson DC25 Vacuum Cleaner

Calling a Dyson DC25 a vacuum cleaner seems almost absurd to me. But I guess if you look beyond all of the features of the Dyson DC25 a vacuum cleaner is all that it really is.

Now I am not an expert on vacuum cleaners and I can’t rattle off all of the features that come on your standard Hoovers or Bissell’s, but I can pretty much do it for Dyson’s. If this website wasn’t any indication of that.

The reason I say is it absurd to call a Dyson DC25 a vacuum cleaner is because it is really so much more. The DC25 has more engineering marvels that most automobiles that people drive.

The Dyson Ball, the Dyson Canister, the Dyson Cyclone, just to list a few of the most modern advancements in vacuum technology over the last 20 years.

The Dyson Ball has changed the way a vacuum can move. You are stuck in the old pattern of back and forth turn and swivel movement to get around furniture. Instead you can quickly turn around chairs, couches coffee tables. Hell you can even dodge the dog.

The Dyson Canister is unbelievable quick to clean out; it is hands free and sanitary. Match that up with the Dyson cyclone that guarantees you will never lose suction while you are vacuuming and the Dyson DC25 Vacuum Cleaner is kind of like the Lexus of vacuum cleaners.

So I guess it is just me and I might be too big a fan of Dyson vacuums for my own good, but the Dyson DC25 is more that just a vacuum cleaner. In my book it is THE vacuum cleaner.

Dyson DC25 Ball

The Dyson DC25 Ball is a pseudonym for the popular upright vacuum from the Dyson Corporation. The vacuum is named the ball because it utilizes Dyson’s patented ball technology.

The ball technology has changed the way vacuums can maneuver around objects.

Instead of a vacuum having limited forward and backward motions the ball allows the vacuum to quickly change directions by just turning your wrist. This basically eliminates the need for the standard back and forth vacuuming motion we have been inherently used to since the invention of the vacuum cleaner.

The Dyson DC25 Ball currently comes in three different models. A limited edition version called the Dyson DC25 Blueprint, The Dyson DC25 Animal which is equipped with a mini turbine head meant for cleaning pet hair, and the Dyson DC25 All Floors or the base model that can be used for cleaning all of your homes surfaces.

The Dyson DC25 Ball is available internationally through many chain stores like Target, walmart, best buy, and also through Dyson.com, ebay, and amazon.com.

The Dyson DC25 Ball also features a collapsible wand for reach those hard to get ceiling fans and corners, an ergonomic carry handle, a push button release for a sanitary push button canister empty. The DC25 is also certified asthma and allergy friendly.

There are many different accessories and replacement parts available for the Dyson DC25 on the Dyson website.

Dyson DC25

About The Dyson DC25

The Dyson DC25 vacuum uses the Dyson Cyclone technology to provide it’s source of suction.

The Dyson Cyclone technology that is the power source of this vacuum is unique because it allows you to vacuum up as much as you need to without ever losing any of the vacuums suction. The way the cyclone works is that rather than using a normal filter or bag that tries to block dust while continuing to suck through tiny holes that get clogged up the cyclone spins the dust and are around with large amounts of force pushing the dust to the bottom of the canister creating a longer more powerful suction.

The Dyson DC25 also know as the dyson ball is the second vacuum cleaner in Dyson’s upright range to be equipped with their new patented technology known as “ball technology”.

What the ball provides is a unique way of adding complete directionality to a vacuum cleaner. What I mean is you are no longer required to move your vacuum in a straight line.

The ball is so easy to move; simply by turning your wrist you can instantly change the direction in which you are heading. What does this mean for you? Well it is simple if you see something to your left you can turn and pick it up without having to either turn your whole body, or putt along over to it in the normal forward and backward motion that our vacuum cleaners have had us accustomed to doing for years. The Dyson DC25 upright vacuum is really the first vacuum to have adjusted to the times that we live in.

Features are what make many people buy vacuum cleaners because well most vacuums aren’t all that different from one another. The Dyson DC25 on the other hand has already proven that it is different in two major ways it has more convenience and more power that most vacuums, but that isn’t all this vacuum has to offer.

The DC25 is available in 3 different models offering different design choices, accessory choices, performance features, and price.

The Dyson DC25 Models

The DC25 is currently available from Dyson in 3 different models:

  • Dyson DC25 Blueprint
  • Dyson DC25 Animal
  • Dyson DC25 All Floors

The Dyson DC25 Blueprint is a limited edition model of the DC25 that was made to pay homage to the great engineers of our world.  James Dyson whom is known for being an ingenious designer and engineer decided to put together a limited edition version of his ball vacuum cleaner with a low profile head to celebrate the lives of the engineers that have inspired him throughout his life.

The Dyson DC25 Animal is one of Dysons namesake upright vacuum cleaners.  This original  full sized ball vacuum cleaner  has changed the way a vacuum cleaner maneuvers and is equipped with a mini turbine head that is designed specifically to pick up animal hair from tight spaces and tough upholsteries.

The Dyson DC25 All Floors model is similar in design to the Animal, but is absent of the mini turbine head.  Let’s face it not all of us have pets and when it comes to the added expense it is unnecessary to have unless you really need it.

They Dyson DC25 Accessories

Looking to buy Dyson sweepers? It seems everyone is looking to buy Dyson sweepers nowadays. Dyson is now the biggest selling vacuum sweeper by total revenue sales in the United States.

Dyson is the original bagless vacuum cleaner. It works on the principle of cyclonic separation to create more suction to pick up dust and debris with greater efficiency. The 8 chambered design gives powerful and consistent suction. No more buying vacuum cleaner bags that fill up in no time. No more losing suction from your sweeper after only using it for a short period.

The Dyson’s long lasting HEPA filter system keeps your air clean while sweeping without putting dust back into the air. The big see through collection cup is easily checked and emptied. Just pop it off and empty into the trash by pulling the trigger to release the debris without even touching it. The Dyson is suitable for both carpet and bare floors.

There are many different series and types of Dyson sweepers as well as an assortment of attachments. There’s the regular upright all floor models for general vacuuming and cleaning. There’s the animal series that comes with attachments specially made for cleaning up after pets. There’s even a neat and useful handheld “dust buster” version of the Dyson. The most recent model is the Dyson Slim which weighs almost 40% less than most of the other full size Dyson sweeper models.

Dyson Fan The Dyson Air Multiplier

Hey everyone,

Today’s article is dedicated to one of the technologies that Dyson has to offer that may be less well known that their line of vacuum cleaners; their fan. I have mentioned time and again that James Dyson is an engineer, one that respects the engineers to have come before him, and one that looks to continuously help in the advancement of new technologies.

Dyson took an idea and created one of the worlds most popular and effiecient vacuum cleaners, he has changed the way vacuums work. He reached further into technology and made improvements on handless air dyers, and now he has picked apart the standard household fan and created one the has a constant air flow and is much more attractive.

What is the Dyson Air Multipler?

They Dyson Air Multiplier is a twist on your conventional ocillation fan. Engineered by The Dyson Limited company the fan is available for sale online at the Dyson website. I have yet to see this available in any of my local stores, but wouldn’t be surprised if it will be available at Target, Walmart, and Best Buys, as they generally carry the Dyson line of vacuum cleaners. The Dyson Air Multipler currently comes in 3 styles ranging in price from 299.99 to $329.99.

In my opinion this is a pretty steep price for a fan, but I haven’t actually had the opportunity to see how well one of these works. Maybe it justifies the price. But I find that a little hard to believe. After all it does just blow air.

What makes the Dyson Air Multiplier Special?

According to the Dyson website the Air Multiplier uses “technology to draw in air and amplify it 15 times, producing an uninterrupted stream of smooth air. With no blades or grill, it’s safe, easy to clean and doesn’t cause unpleasant buffeting.”

The no blade, no grill part is pretty cool. Fan blades are magnets for dust, and they aren’t easy to clean at all. So if you have ever spent any time cleaning a fan you will absolutely appreciate that. But now for the important part. What the hell does buffeting mean?

Buffeting according to Google’s definition tool are “repeated heavy blows”. Dyson explains this as the heavy bursts of air you feel from a fan because each blade is actually chopping the air into pieces rather than producing a smooth and uninterrupted breeze like the multiplier does.

How Does the Dyson Air Multiplier work?

Well you have got me. I can’t explain it well enough to even try. Be sure to check out their page describing the process along with a pretty nifty animation.

The Dyson DC25 Blueprint

The label “limited edition” has fascinated the American market for decades. I am not sure if it is because we like to own a piece of history, if we believe that something that is limited has a higher perceived value, or if maybe we are just a little pretentious and want to be able to say we have something very few others do. But at any rate Dyson has joined the leagues of companies producing limited edition products and I thought you should know about it.

The Dyson DC25 Blueprint is a newly released limited edition version of the Dyson DC25 ball vacuum cleaner. The Blueprint doesn’t sport any new features and is really in no way different than the original DC25, accept that it comes in the color white and there are only 600 available.

The Blueprint is on sale only through the official Dyson website and quantities I am sure will be going fast as the DC25 is one of the companies most popular models.

Rather than trying to give you a lengthy review of the vacuums specs, which I have covered in my previous article, Dyson The Ball. I am going to give you a little info as to why Dyson created this limited edition vacuum.

According to the Dyson company the story behind the blueprint is about honoring the engineers of the world that have had the guts to take an idea and to see it through to an end. The vacuum is built to honor those that tried and failed, and failed, and failed until they eventually found success.

On the Dyson website they list the story of 3 engineers and how they stumbled through the invention process to create some the greatest inventions of our time. Edison and his light bulb, Goodyear and his rubberized compound, and fuller with his dome.

These three gentlemen created unique products that have been used the world over and without their tenacity and perseverance the world may have never seen them.

Dyson himself is on the list of great engineers as his line of vacuums has changed an industry and he only pushes himself further into new markets as he grows.

In my opinion not only is the Dyson Blueprint DC25 vacuum a memorial to those engineers of the past, but an inspiration to Dyson himself and the engineers to come after him.

How To Clean a Dyson Cyclone

One of my most popular articles to date has been how to clean a Dyson Filter, and after follow up from readers the one that I was missing seemed to be how to clean the Dyson cyclone.

Truth be told though it was less frequently a question of how to clean it, but more a question of is it safe to clean a Dyson Cyclone.

The answer is yes. You can feel relieved to know that there are no mechanical parts in the canister or cyclone that will or could be damaged from a routine cleaning.  In fact a routine cleaning of your Dyson cyclone and canister is a good way to ensure that your vacuum cleaner will continue to run at its optimum level.

The process of cleaning the Dyson cyclone is very similar to emptying the bin of contaminants.  With just a few steps and a few hours to let everything dry completely you will have your Dyson running and looking like new.

What you need:

Water

A mild detergent (dish washing soap is fine)

What to do:

  1. Unplug your vacuum.
  2. Always unplug your Dyson upright vacuum cleaner from the wall before removing any parts, especially when the use of water will be involved.

  3. Press the canister release button.
  4. The canister release button is located directly on top of the canister. It is generally positioned for easy release with your thumb on top of the Dyson ergonomic handle.

  5. Empty any contaminants into a waste receptacle.
  6. Remove the cyclone component.
  7. Separate the canister and cyclone components by pressing the release button on the side of the container.

  8. Rinse the cyclone and canister in water.
  9. Warm or cold water should not matter. Clean with a soft cloth or sponge until the water exiting the cyclone is clean and clear.

  10. Allow time for parts to dry.
  11. Be completely sure all components of the Dyson are completely dry before reassembling your vacuum cleaner.

Thank you for reading our instructions on how to clean a Dyson cyclone. We appreciate your visit. For legal purposes however I must acknowledge the following.

I do not work for Dyson nor is this tutorial associate with the company in anyway. I suggest consulting your products manual or the company before following this guide.

Dyson Spare Parts

Dyson Spare Parts

For those of you who are looking for replacement parts for your Dyson I would first recommend calling the company to see if they missing or broken part is covered under the 5 year or 6 month warranty that is sold with each new and refurbished Dyson vacuum cleaner. If it is not I would suggest going to www.dyson.com to find the part that you need for your vacuum cleaner.

Dyson’s home page has a Dyson spare part catalog for each one of its model. Simply follow these instructions to locate a list of parts available for your model.

1. Visit Dyson
2. Go To Online Store
3. In The Sub Menu Go To Parts & Accessories
4. Select Your Vacuum Type
5. Select Your Vacuum Model

The site will then list all of the Dyson spare parts and the accessories that are available for your model of vacuum from the company directly.

Dyson spares and accessories are available from amazon.com, overstock, best buy, and other retailers. However as is the case when purchasing any replacement part I prefer to buy from the original manufacture. I can’t say why it is just my preference.

Dyson spare parts include hoses, adapters, and filters. To my knowledge heads, handles, and canisters are not sold separately and will be replaced only through remanufacturing or refurbishment from the company itself.

Dyson accessories are not considered spare parts. If you are looking for accessories there are many available through all of the retail outlets that currently sell Dyson vacuum cleaners.

Dyson Vacuum Sale

Dyson Vacuum Sale

A Dyson vacuum cleaner is an expensive purchase, so it is your job as a consumer to shop around and find the best deal that you can. It is my job however to help you find the best deals. With that said I have set out to find all of the websites that offer Dyson’s and am trying to locate the best Dyson vacuum sale.

After completing my due diligence in scouring the net for the best deals I found the overstock.com has the best everyday prices on Dyson vacuum cleaners.

Overstock’s Dyson vacuum sales are dynamic and change from day to day, but while reviewing there prices I noticed that when compared to brick and mortar retail shops and even many online shop overstock’s prices often came out at 25 – 50% lower than there competitors.

Another place to find great deals on Dyson vacuums is amazon.com. If you have visited our site before this is something you have probably noticed as most of our ads come from Amazon and I mentioned them a lot. The reason is that even though they might not always have the best prices they do have a wide variety, sound shipping, and great customer service.

If you keep your eyes peeled at Amazon you will find excellent prices and they even have extended warranties for refurbished Dyson vacs available.

In all honesty though the best Dyson vacuum sale that can be found is the one that fits your budget; take the time to shop around and you will find a great value.

Dyson are available in stores and online at 100’s of different retailers, they are available company direct online, and from friends and family that work in the corporate offices. Finding one at the price you are looking for shouldn’t be too hard, and I guarantee no matter what the price you will be happy you bought one.

Did you know that 99.9% of all air expelled from a Dyson vacuum is cleaner that it was when it was sucked it? That is the Dyson difference.

Dyson Airmuscle

The Dyson Airmuscle ™:

Dyson Direct Inc. has unveiled it’s latest technology on a new upright vacuum cleaner named the Dyson DC28. The technology, know now as the Dyson Airmuscle is a combination of three new technologies that allows the vacuum cleaner head to move intelligently to adapt to vacuuming on different surfaces.

It seems to me that Dyson is always working to figure out what is currently wrong with their vacuum cleaners, and not what is currently right. A mindset that really seems to be working for them as it has lead to many new advances in the vacuum cleaner industry. The problem that they addressed this time was that they saw that vacuum cleaners didn’t not effectively vacuum all surface well, and even the ones that had adjustments for such issues the did not work appropriately.

When a vacuum is adjustable for cleaning different surface types it will generally have two options 1 lower the brush bar, or 2 lower the entire vacuum head. The problems that occur with these adjustments are that when you lower the brush bar you will raise the vacuums head away from the floor causing a suction leakage. The leakage means that you will lose some of your seal and your vacuum won’t pick up all of the dirt that it should be picking up. The issue with lowering the vacuums head is that they generally do it by weighting the vacuum to keep it touch the ground. But the weights will make it difficult to push, especially in carpet where the nose of the vacuum will have a tendency to get buried and stuck.

How Does the Dyson Airmuscle Fix the Problem?

If I were to tell you that I understood completely what the airmuscle did to fix the issue I would be lying because well it took the Dyson engineers whom are much smart than I am 3 years to figure it out. But I do know that they combine three technologies that have seperate but equally important jobs.

Dyson’s Website Says
1. Pneumatic actuator
Pulls the cleaner head deeper into the carpet, opening the pile to dislodge dirt and pet hair.
2. Powered cam
Lifts the brush bar up for hard floors, focusing suction.
3. High-torque clutch
More power to the brush bar, enabling the stiff bristles to open carpet pile and dislodge dirt.

Vacuum’s With the Dyson Airmuscle Technology:

The newest vacuum in the Dyson line up the DC28 upright vacuum cleaner is currently the only vacuum available with the new airmuscle technology. I would expect that as new vacuums are developed the will be equipped with the same or a similar technology.
