Dyson DC25 Ball Vacuum

The Dyson DC25 Ball Vacuum is one of the most popular vacuums to hit the marketplace in the last 20 years.  The features that James Dyson has included in this vacuum cleaner are outstanding.

Consumer opinions, ratings, and sales for the Dyson DC25 are among the tops of the industry each year. So what is it that makes the DC25 Ball Vacuum so popular?

Well, let’s start from the bottom and work our way up shall we?

The Dyson DC25 Ball vacuum starts with a finger tip controlled brush bar that can be turned on and off for use on different types of floors.  The Brush bar itself can be removed from the side of the head to help you clear any clogs that may have caused the brush bar to stop turning. Once you have cleared the clog simple place the brush bar back into the head and press the bar reset button on the side of the vacuums head. It can’t get any easier than that.

Next we move up to the technology that the Dyson DC25 Ball vacuum is named after.  The Ball technology is one of Dyson’s most advanced technologies. The Ball has completely changed the way a vacuum can move.  Since the inception of the electric vacuum we have been pushing our vacuums in oblong and obscure motions to get around object like chairs or coffee tables because our upright vacuums have sat upon for unidirectional wheels. The Dyson DC25 Ball vacuum changes that. Now my just changing the direction of your wrist while you are vacuuming you can navigate around anything that is your way in a fluid motion.

Above the Dyson Ball is the world famous Dyson Canister.  The canister itself is certified allergy and asthma friendly, it has an easy release push button empty mechanism so you don’t have to get your hands dirty at all.  But the most important part of the canister is what sits inside it. The Dyson DC25 Ball Vacuum is equipped with the Dyson cyclone technology that is proven to keep you from losing suction while vacuuming. That means that no matter how much you suck up with your vacuum the cyclone will push the contaminants to the bottom and keep on sucking without block air flow through the filter.

And speaking of the filter, the Dyson DC25 Ball vacuum wouldn’t be completed without the Dyson lifetime HEPA filter.  Follow the cleaning instructions on your Dyson HEPA filter and you won’t ever have to replace it.  That means that Dyson DC25 Ball will pay for itself after years of use because you won’t have to spend any money replacing bags or filters.

The Dyson DC25 Ball Vacuum has an absurd amount of features, many of which I didn’t get into detail in the article.  All I can say is that if you are in the market to buy a new vacuum be sure to check this one out.

Dyson DC21 vs DC23

Friday, May 29th, 2009

When looking at the line of canister vacuum cleaners offered by Dyson, it doesn’t take long before you end up at the DC21 and the DC23. The only question that remains once you do is which to choose. This is where you need to look at the Dyson DC21 vs DC23 in order to make a decision.

Both vacuums are very compact and easily stored almost anywhere. They are both great for any house that doesn’t offer or have a lot of space for storage. The Dyson DC21 vs DC23 doesn’t offer any advantage toward one or the other when it comes to space saving ability or performance, however, there are a few other differences between the two that can help you make a more informed decision on which will better serve you and your needs. But let look at some of the features both offer first, and then go from there.

Both the Dyson DC21 vs DC23 come with the lifetime HEPA filter. This is a great option for anyone who has allergies or who suffers from asthma. With a monthly cleaning by using warm water to wash it out, the HEPA filter will continue to perform year after year. It is able to remove some of the smallest particles of dust and pollen in order to help keep your home as allergy free as possible.

In addition, both models come standard with the motorized automatic brush bar. This makes cleaning as easy as possible as the vacuum does most of the work for you. All you have to do is direct the brush bar in the direction you want to clean and it does the rest of the work. The Dyson DC23 comes with the telescope wrap system which makes it much more convenient and easy to use as the hose doesn’t get in the way as you clean. This is a great little feature of this vacuum cleaner making it much easier than the DC21.

When looking at the Dyson DC21 vs DC23, you also need to consider the fact that the DC23 is certified asthma and allergy friendly. Not all of the Dyson vacuum cleaners come with this certification, however, the DC23 does which means that it is even more capable of providing cleaner air and purifying your the air in your house while cleaning.

Another difference that will very quickly come to your attention when you do a Dyson DC21 vs DC23 comparison is that the DC21 only comes with the standard Cyclone technology while the DC23 comes with the level 3 Cyclone technology. This gives both vacuum cleaners incredible cleaning power, however, the DC23 very quickly pulls to the front of the pack. The level 3 Cyclone technology is some of the most advanced and unique systems for cleaning on the market and is absolutely one of the most powerful offered by any vacuum cleaner anywhere.

In addition to all of this, the DC23 is specifically designed with larger wheels in order to make carrying and moving the vacuum around much easier. This is especially beneficial when going upstairs. Even though both systems are very light, compact, and easily transportable and carried, these small additional features included on the DC23 make it even nicer of a vacuum cleaner to use all over your home.

When looking at the Dyson DC21 vs DC23, it becomes apparent that the DC23 out performs the DC21 in various areas when looked at side by side. Compared to other brand names on the market, there simply is no competition. However, when you compete with yourself such as Dyson does here, it can be difficult to keep up, and the DC21 simply doesn’t compete with the DC23.

The Dyson DC21 is the current front runner for the canister product line from Dyson.

Dyson DC23

Another model offered by the Dyson vacuum cleaner company is the Dyson DC23. This is one of the canister vacuum cleaners offered and created by Dyson. Even though it is smaller than the normal upright vacuum cleaners, it is by no means any less capable of cleaning than the other models available on the market or in the Dyson line up.

The Dyson DC23 canister vacuum is another great option for anyone with a household that doesn’t offer a lot of storage space. The Dyson DC23 vacuum is easily stored in almost any place you can find for it and takes up significantly less space in your closet or under your bed as the upright models do.

The Dyson DC23 vacuum has been called the future of the canister models offered by Dyson. This is no easy task to live up to considering the expected standard of quality and performance that Dyson expects from all of it’s models whether they are upright or canister models. However, many of the incredible features and accessories offered with this little vacuum cleaner make it very likely to live up to that expectation.

The Dyson DC23 comes equipped with the newest level 3 Cyclone technology. This is the most advanced technology in the vacuum cleaner industry and offers an extremely powerful ability to pick up dirt and reach deep into your carpets available anywhere or by any vacuum you can find. It also means that you will never lose suction with your vacuum while cleaning and always have high power cleaning ability no matter what you are trying to clean or pick up.

In addition to this. The Dyson DC23 comes included with the lifetime HEPA filter as well which is the best possible filter on the market for anyone with allergies or asthma. With a simple monthly cleaning, this filter continues to offer the best possible hypoallergenic solution for particles in the air to help keep your house as particle free, and allergy free as possible.

You will also notice that the vacuum comes with the automatic brush bar. This is a motorized bar that helps to do half of the work for you making it easier for you to clean. In addition, the telescope wrap system comes included with the Dyson DC23. This makes it easier to get around and use the vacuum without the hose getting in the way while you try to work. This has long been one of the biggest problems for many vacuum cleaners, especially the canister models on the market. Not anymore with this little beauty.

This is a beautiful piece of technology in it’s overall ability to perform, extremely high standard of quality, and accessories and features as well. The large wheels that come equipped with the Dyson DC23 make it much easier to carry upstairs. The special attention to it’s overall hygienic performance and design also make it a wonderful cleaning tool for anyone with asthma or allergies. Add to that the incredibly advanced technology that has been put into the Cyclone system and it’s ease of use and storage, and you soon realize why this little vacuum will be the future of canister vacuum cleaners produced by Dyson.

The Dyson Canister Vacuums

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Since the inception of Dyson info I have put most of my focus on the Dyson Upright vacuums and their parts and accessories. The time has come for me to switch gears a little bit and look at the uprights counterpart, AKA the Dyson canister vacuums.

The canister vacuum is great for those of us that have households that don’t have a ton of storage space and was actually one of the options I looked at before I bought my DC24. Basically a canister vacuum allows for all the same functionality of a full sized upright vacuum, but without the need to have a full sized closet to store one. The Dyson canister vacuums after all are known as “stowable” meaning they can fit almost anywhere you need to store them.

The Dyson Canister Vacuums aren’t nearly as popular as their upright models so like my site there haven’t been as many items produced for them. But that doesn’t mean that they aren’t any less functional that the uprights.

On Dyson’s site they are currently offering the Dyson DC21 as their primary canister vacuum but don’t be discouraged that you only have one to choose from because both past and future models such as the Dyson DC11 and the DC23 can be found on sale on different distributors which are both above and beyond par with other canister vacuums on the market.

The Dyson Canister Vacuum Models:

The Dyson DC11 Canister is the original canister vacuum from Dyson and while no longer sold directly from the company you can still find it for sale in refurbished formats and some stores and generally online at Amazon.

The Dyson DC21 is the current front runner for the canister product line from Dyson. This vacuum is compact and easily storable and has an amazing array of features and attachments to go with it. The features for this vacuum include a motorized brush bar that can be turned on and off with the tap of your toe, a Dyson Cyclone to guarantee that you never lose suction, and a lifetime HEPA filter.

The Dyson DC23 is the future of the canister models from Dyson. It is equipped with the level 3 Cyclone technology, the lifetime heap filter, the automatic brush bar, it is equipped with large wheels to make carrying the vacuum upstairs easier, and has a hygienic canister to keep your house asthma and allergy friendly.

My Opinion about the Dyson Canister vacuum cleaners:

They are perfect for a house that needs a place to keep a vacuum but doesn’t have a lot of space to do it. I prefer the use of a upright as it is much more convenient than a canister, but I would recommend them to anyone.
